About the Owner
Mr. Richard Saucedo, Owner and President of RISK5 Compliance Group
With over 25 years of experience in the fields of HR, Health & Safety, OSHA, DOT Compliance, Workers' Compensation (Loss Prevention), and Insurance Risk Management.
Mr. Saucedo brings a wide range of deliverables to his clients, and is actively advising corporations such as Toyota Motor Manufacturing, General Contractors, School Districts, as well as several small business startups.
Prior to forming RISK5 Compliance Group, Mr. Saucedo was the Senior Vice President of Risk Control for Frost Bank Insurance Group, assisting major corporations and school districts throughout Texas, successfully managing client risk profiles by implementing new Health and Safety programs, identifying and trending losses with data analytics, and crafting effective training techniques for workers. His actions resulted in the lowering of their respective Workers’ Compensation losses by over 75% annually. Mr. Saucedo also successfully managed OCIP and ROCIPs programs worth over $1.2B.
Mr. Saucedo holds a B.S. in Psychology of Organizational Development (PSOD-HR), with a minor in Information Systems from the University of the Incarnate Word, and an AAS in Civil Engineering Technology from San Antonio College. Mr. Saucedo is a Licensed P&C Agent, with certifications in Professional Human Resources and is a State of Texas Loss Control Representative.
Before his work in Risk Management, Mr. Saucedo was a project manager and design engineer for 15 years, developing solutions to problems in manufacturing, education and utility-scale energy projects.
